Celebrating the 2012 Carson Scholars

It’s time to recognize and celebrate our 2012 Carson Scholars! Over the next few months, nine awards banquets and ceremonies will be held across the country. We are thankful to all of the supporters and sponsors who help make these events possible, our chapter volunteers for their hard work organizing the events, and of course our scholars, their families, and their schools for all of their achievements.

Below is a calendar of this year’s Awards Banquets. Click on the links for additional details, to purchase tickets, to purchase sponsorships, and more.

Skating for a Good Cause

Four-time Carson Scholar Adriana Culotta loves figure skating. From competing to performing locally, it’s an activity she has participated in since elementary school. Now, Adriana finds passion in teaching others to skate.

Two years ago, Adriana learned through friends about I-Skate, an adaptive skating program for children with physical disabilities to enjoy recreational ice skating. Soon after hearing about it, Adriana began volunteering.
