The Scholar Services Coordinator (full-time position) will assist with all aspects of the scholarship program, outreach to scholar alumni, and communications and marketing to all stakeholders. The Scholars Services Coordinator is the voice of the program and is required to assist with managing the scholar and alumni networks in concert with the Scholarship Director.

Scholarship Payout Information
InWritten by admin on Apr 18,2013 - 11:57amAs the school year comes to a close and many of you are deciding on college and determining financial aid, we thought it would be helpful to share with you are scholarship payout process.
Scholarship monies are paid directly to the school and can only be made after verifying that the scholar is a full-time accepted and enrolled student at an accredited institution within the United States for the upcoming semester. Students must be enrolled in a bachelor’s-degree-track (four-year) program.

Former Republican presidential candidate, Herman Cain spoke as an educational proponent and applauded the efforts of Dr. and Mrs. Carson. The 17th Annual Maryland Awards Banquet

This year’s scholars continue to impress us, and we are very proud of the remarkable work they have achieved. It was a pleasure being able to meet so many of them this past weekend.

The first Ben Carson Reading Room in the state of Connecticut opened at Strong Elementary School on Orchard St. in New Haven. The morning was not too early for the students to exercise the school motto of “Strong Hands, Strong Minds at Strong School.”
Board Member Spotlight: Dr. Nancy Grasmick

The State of Maryland has been honored by the leadership of Dr. Grasmick, who for 20 years served the Maryland Department of Education…longer than any other state superintendent of schools in the entire United States.
Strong Elementary Reading Room under construction

The new reading room which is the second reading room sponsored by Dr. and Mrs. Donald Janower will open on Friday, April 5th. The Strong Elementary Reading Room appropriately has the theme, “Strong Hands, Strong Minds.”
