Ben Carson Reading Day 2011

The importance of everyday reading was heard loud and clear as Reading Room schools across the country celebrated the 6th Annual Ben Carson Reading Day on Monday, November 14th.  To celebrate this literacy event, Reading Room schools hosted guest readers and held special activities to encourage everyday leisure reading.  Dr. Carson celebrated the day by visiting with students at Woodlawn High School in Maryland while WMAR Morning Anchor Charlie Crowson spent time reading to students at Govans Elementary School.
