Battle Creek Scholars Shine!

On April 23rd, the Battle Creek Chapter of the Carson Scholars fund had a Carson Scholar's Reception featuring 3 Carson Scholars who shared their winning essays that were sent to CSF headquarters. Austin McKinney, Chase Williamson, and Garrett Kissinger did a marvelous job of reading their winning essay to the group and much applause were given for their wonderful achievements. 

In addition to the great messages delivered by the speakers, the audience enjoyed entertainment provided by students that attend Battle Creek Public Schools. The wonderful talent throughout our school district shined. 

Next year's event will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011.  This is in conjunction with the Kellogg Company's shareholder's meeting.
