A Star-Spangled Event to Remember!

In just two days, you could be joining Dr. and Mrs. Carson at the Baltimore “Sailabration” kick-off concert.

On Wednesday, June 13th, a special concert by the award-winning Medical Musical Group (MMG), the world’s premier medical choral and symphony orchestra will start the week-long event that commemorates 200 years of peace with Great Britain. This inspiring concert includes patriotic music and celebrity narratives.

The concert will be held at Johns Hopkins Peabody Conservatory in the Miriam Friedberg Concert Hall. A pre-concert featuring local ensembles starts at 6:30 pm followed by the concert at 7 pm.

Senator Ben Cardin and Congressman Elijah Cummings will host the event. The concert will feature actor Richard Dreyfuss, gospel singer Wintley Phipps, legendary Baltimore newscaster Stan Stovall, ‘Voice of the Ravens’ Gerry Sandusky, Dean Martin’s daughter Deana, and others including Dr. Carson.

Attention Carson Scholars/Alumni! Volunteers are needed for the event! Volunteers must be at the Peabody Conservatory on Wednesday, June 13, at 6 pm.
