T.C. Williams High School Reading Room Opening

Friday the 13th was anything but unlucky for the students at T.C. Williams High School as their school opened not one, but two, Ben Carson Reading Rooms.  Thanks to the generosity of the D.C. Metro Chapter of the Carson Scholars and the Verizon Foundation, the T.C. Williams Reading Room is the first reading room to open in Virginia and the first to incorporate technology.  In addition to books, students can explore literary materials on an interactive whiteboard, iPads, and Kindles.  To view pictures of the opening, click here.
