Kennard CJA students celebrate Ben Carson Reading Day!
Local author, Dr. LaTisha Smith stopped by Kennard CJA to share her book, Mama Always Knows Best, on Novemeber 14, 2010 for the 5th Annual Ben Carson Reading Day.
Kennard Classical Jr. Academy’s Ben Carson Reading Room opened on January 22, 2007 along with seven other reading rooms in the St. Louis area. Dr. and Mrs. Carson and dedicated faculty from St. Louis University attended a press conference and ceremony celebrating the opening of 8 Ben Carson Reading Rooms in St. Louis Elementary and Middle Schools.
