Mrs. Carson visited Christel House Academy on June 6, 2012 in their Ben Carson Reading Room. She spoke to an intimate group of students, faculty, and staff. Dr. George Rausch from Indiana University School of Medicine also attended.
Students have already shown progress since the addition of their Ben Carson Reading Room. A number of students come on a regular basis. According to the faculty at Christel House Academy, students are spending more time in the reading room and their grades and school work has improved!
