Owen a 2022 Carson Scholar, is studying biochemistry at the University of Florida and plans to become a physician. He is the founder of The MCAT Society, a student-led initiative created to make medical school preparation more collaborative, accessible and affordable for aspiring doctors. Owen is also passionate about mentorship, healthcare access and supporting vulnerable populations through both research and service. When asked what he would tell his 10-year-old self, he shared, “Be yourself – sooner.”
