Scholarships Awarded

Annual Scholarship

$1,500

Funding an Annual Scholarship ensures a deserving student is recognized and rewarded. You may designate your scholarship for a specific school or region, or allow it to be awarded to the most deserving student nationwide.

Your $1,500 gift includes:

$1,000 scholarship, held in trust until the student graduates from high school and enrolls in college.
$500 recognition package, including tangible awards and tickets to an awards banquet.

Endow a Scholarship in Perpetuity

$30,000

An Endowed Scholarship—funded as a one-time gift or in installments—creates a lasting legacy by supporting a Carson Scholar at a school of your choice in perpetuity. Each year, the school may nominate three students to apply for one scholarship to be awarded at the school.

Endowments may also be designated by region, state or even applicant characteristics. We’re happy to help you determine the best way to make a lasting impact.

Scholar Recognition Package

$500

Sponsoring a recognition package provides students with tangible items representing their accomplishments including a medal and/or pin, certificate, scholar gift, and a trophy and/or nameplate for students’ schools.

A planned gift to the Carson Scholars Fund helps ensure that future generations of students have access to educational opportunities and literacy programs. Planned giving allows supporters to create a meaningful legacy while realizing tax and financial benefits.

There are many ways to support CSF through a planned gift, including:

Wills and Bequests – Include CSF in your estate plans while retaining control of your assets during your lifetime.
Retirement Plan Assets – Name CSF as a beneficiary of a portion or all of your retirement assets.
Life Insurance – Designate CSF as a beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy.Gifts of Appreciated Assets – Donate stock, real estate, business interests, or other appreciated assets which may offer tax advantages.

The Carson Scholars Fund is always seeking qualified volunteers to help fulfill our mission. Volunteers can help with our scholarship process, our events, or our reading rooms.
