We are excited to recognize Mia Ottolini, a seven-time Carson Scholar, as she begins her senior year. Throughout her academic journey, Mia has distinguished herself not only through her achievements in the classroom but also through her leadership, athletic involvement, and commitment to serving others.

Mia has set her sights on a future in medicine, with the goal of specializing in dermatology. Her interest in this field is fueled by a passion for science, a drive to help others, and a commitment to improving health and well-being. As she prepares for this career path, Mia has consistently challenged herself with rigorous coursework and has excelled academically, laying a strong foundation for the years ahead.

Her dedication extends well beyond academics. A standout in athletics, Mia has contributed her talents to both the varsity and competition cheer teams, where she brings energy, teamwork, and leadership to every performance. She is also a member of the varsity track and field team, demonstrating her versatility and determination as an athlete.

Mia’s leadership is equally evident in her involvement with student organizations. She plays an active role in the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Student Council, where she helps create opportunities for her peers and supports initiatives that strengthen her school community. These roles have given her the opportunity to grow as a leader while inspiring those around her.

Outside of school, Mia is deeply committed to service. She volunteers with programs designed to support students with special needs, offering her time, encouragement, and compassion. Her willingness to serve others highlights the heart of her character and reflects her dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of those around her.

Mia’s leadership has also been recognized beyond her school. She was one of only four students selected to attend the prestigious LEAD Like a Girl Summit, an opportunity that allowed her to engage with other young leaders and expand her vision for what women can achieve across all fields, including medicine and science.

We are proud to celebrate Mia’s accomplishments and all that she has contributed as a scholar, athlete, and leader. As she enters her senior year, there is no doubt that she will continue to make an impact in her school and community. We look forward to following her journey as she pursues her passion for medicine and builds a future where her talents and dedication can benefit countless others.
