Dear CSF Community,

As we reflect on the 2026 scholarship season, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who took part in this momentous year.  The Carson Scholars Program would not be possible without the support of donors, educators, parents, volunteers and, most importantly, Carson Scholars – both new and longtime scholars.

A record number of Carson Scholars was named this year.  Across the country, 706 students were named Carson Scholars for the first time and 994 students received multi-time Carson Scholar recognition.  In total, 1,700 students were celebrated for their commitment to academics and their drive to help and serve others through research, nonprofits, small businesses and volunteer work.

More than 90 amazing friends of the CSF volunteered their time to score scholarship applications, assemble scholar packs and/or assist at a banquet.  It remains true that our organization would not be what it is without our volunteers.

The educators who believe in and support their students on their academic and service endeavors drive the mission of the Carson Scholars Fund.  The scholarship program would not exist without your participation.  Thank you for sharing your outstanding students with us!

To the donors who generously provide funding to make scholarships possible, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.  Your desire to celebrate students’ achievements, encourage their growth and support their developing leadership skills is how the Carson Scholars Program is able to continuously reward the top students across the country.

The highlight of the season for the CSF team was saying hello to friends, both new and old, as we traveled across the country to banquets.  We reconnected with donors, volunteers, and scholars and their families and met many wonderful people as we welcomed the 2026 scholars into the community.

As summer begins, we’ll be busy preparing to kick off the 2027 scholarship cycle in October and continue growing the program.
