2026 National Day of Reading
Celebrate the 21st National Day of Reading!
The Carson Scholars Fund is proud to present the 21st National Day of Reading, generously sponsored by Stack & Store Self Storage and Dr. Lori Everett. The celebration will take place on Monday, November 16.
This special event inspires young children to discover the joy of reading and highlights the lifelong opportunities that books, literacy and learning can unlock.
This Year’s Featured Book: All the World
This year’s featured book is All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon, beautifully illustrated by Caldecott Honor Medalist Marla Frazee.
Through lyrical rhymes and captivating illustrations, this heartwarming story follows a family from sunrise to sunset, celebrating the wonder found in everyday moments and reminding readers that both the big and small things in life are connected and meaningful.
Bring the Story to Life!
Students at Ben Carson/Think Big Reading Rooms will enjoy a special screening of All the World and receive a copy of the book to read as part of their National Day of Reading celebrations.
