On Sunday, September 10, CSF Pittsburgh Chapter President Fran Donahue, and her husband Tom, hosted the 7^th Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Carson Scholars from Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas at Laurel Valley Golf Club.  The Club is located in Ligonier, PA and is nestled amidst the picturesque Laurel Highlands. It offers a world-class golfing experience in a beautiful natural setting. Golfers and guests were greeted by Dr. and Mrs. Carson and Devon Harris. Devon Harris was a member of the 1988 Jamaican bobsled team, is a three-time Olympian and served as our inspirational keynote speaker and honoree at the 2023 Pittsburgh Banquet.

The Carsons spoke to guests at lunch and gave the golfers an inspirational message before the shot gun start. Dr. Carson and Devon traveled the course to meet the foursomes on the greens. There was even a hole in one by Mr. Jim Beck! The Pittsburgh Chapter has raised over $81,000 this year thanks to wonderful events like the golf tournament.
