Dawes Elementary School

March 2nd, 2012 marked the Grand Opening of the Ben Carson Reading Room at Dawes Elementary School in Chicago, IL. While the temperature outdoors barely rose above freezing, students, faculty, administrators, and guests were warmed not only by the generosity of room donor Advocate Christ Medical Center but also by the cozy faux fireplace in the school’s new Ben Carson Reading Room!
