Meet Scholarship Director Felicia Wise

Felicia recently joined the Carson Scholars Fund staff as its Scholarship Director.  She has an extensive background working with youth, families, and communities that includes college & career access and retention, financial aid and literacy, student success initiatives, and scholarship programing and alumni engagement. Prior to joining Carson Scholars, Felicia served as Scholarship Programs Manager at Hostelling International USA.  Felicia is passionate about higher education and believes that college should not only be accessible but also affordable to allow individuals, especially our youth, to impact change.  She is excited to be part of the CSF team and to help more students obtain an affordable college degree through program expansion and growth.

Felicia was born and raised in Maryland where she was a student athlete throughout her entire academic career.  She holds a bachelor’s in mass communications from Iona College, where she played division 1 women’s basketball, and a master’s in business management from University of Maryland Global Campus.

Felicia enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.  However you will most likely find her researching educational hot topics as she is currently working on completing her Ed.D in Higher Education Leadership.
