At the Carson Scholars Fund, we believe in lifting up tomorrow’s leaders, and our volunteers are the wind beneath their wings. As we embark on another season of celebrating academic excellence, we invite you to join us in soaring to new heights—both for our scholars and yourself—by volunteering during our scholarship and awards banquet seasons.

From January to May, we tackle a variety of exciting projects, and it’s our outstanding volunteers who help us rise to the occasion. Without you, our mission to discover promise and reward excellence would simply not be possible.

As a volunteer, you help elevate the future by:

• Scoring scholarship applications (done remotely)
• Assembling scholar packs for awards banquets
• Preparing banquet materials
• Assisting with mailings to distribute materials to scholars and schools

Scholarship application scoring kicks off mid-January and runs through mid-February. After that, from March to mid-May, we focus on preparing for our awards banquets, with projects taking place at the CSF office in Towson, MD.

Each of these tasks plays a crucial role in ensuring that our scholars have the platform to shine. By volunteering, you’re not just helping with logistics, you’re empowering young scholars to aim higher, dream bigger and reach for the stars.
