Calverton Students at Calverton Elementary/Middle School were incredibly excited to meet two local authors visiting their school on Friday, February 8, 2008. Baltimore native Robyn Ringgold (My Mom Hugs Trees) and Zaccai Free (Mbuto’s Mangos) read their books to numerous students throughout the morning. Candy Carson and son, Rhoeyce also shared a few of their favorite books with the students. This room was made possible through the generosity of the France-Merrick Foundation
