Chapter Spotlight

About the Palm Beach County Chapter:

The Palm Beach County Chapter is lifting students up and making the world a better place. Thanks to their generosity 16 Palm Beach County Public Schools students were named 2021 Carson Scholars. The Chapter and Rybovich Boat Company also had the unique honor of sponsoring the CSF’s 10,000th scholarship recipient, Derron Blake, Jr., from Northboro Elementary School. The Palm Beach County Chapter always knew the secret to inspiring a love of reading is to provide young children with access to high-quality, interesting and educational books.  For the past 7 years this diverse group consisting of individuals, businesses and foundations has provided opportunities for Palm Beach County Schools to create vibrant, relaxing reading spaces dedicated to promoting leisure reading.  What began as one reading room at Allamanda Elementary in 2014 has blossomed into a network of 24 unique Ben Carson Reading Rooms.
