“The room is less intimidating to struggling readers because they get to choose the book they will be reading and there is no pressure from teachers to perform at a certain level,” said a Ben Carson Reading Room Coordinator.
Havre de Grace Middle School Reading Room, sponsored by Stack & Store, opened October 6, 2005. This was the first Reading Room project ever located in a Middle School.
