We are pleased to announce that we have selected five new members for the Carson Scholars Fund Hall of Fame! This year’s members are comprised of aspiring doctors, scientists and engineers. Along with their diligent pursuit of higher knowledge, these individuals are working every day to make a difference in their communities. They are the perfect example of what it means to be a Carson Scholar, and we are delighted to have them join the rest of the Hall of Fame members.

Molly O’Neil spent a summer in Vietnam sharing her osteopathic medical knowledge with children who had mobility disorders, and considers “Let that Be Enough” by Switchfoot to be the song that describes her the best.

Vani Senthil is multilingual, and uses her knowledge to teach young Indian immigrants who grew up in America the Tamil language at a local school.

Christina Patterson is passionate about improving the quality of life for the physically disabled population, and plans to use her engineering degree to create instruments that individuals can use to improve their mobility.

Ryan Briscoe founded the X-STEM club at his high school, and uses his charismatic skills to mentor younger students about basic foundational concepts through hands-on labs.

Zoe Mele, Human Biology and Business Administration double major, was named President of the Make-A-Wish branch at the University of Southern California during her junior year of college, and is now a certified wish granter.

The Hall of Fame is meant to celebrate outstanding Carson Scholar alumni who continue to represent the CSF’s mission – those who have demonstrated success and excellence in the work force, who have excelled academically and who have made significant contributions in their communities.

These Hall of Fame members will be honored at this year’s awards banquet this coming spring.
