Meet Our Carson Scholars Fund Interns, Julia and Ally!

Julia Weinick was born and raised in Reisterstown, MD. She currently attends Towson University, where she is a senior majoring in Family Studies and Community Development with a concentration in Services to Children and Youth. Julia plans to further her education in pursuit of receiving her Master’s in Social Work. She has experience interning with Ronald McDonald House Charities and volunteering for Shootout for Soldiers and at The Maples of Towson. During her free time, Julia enjoys going to the Ravens games, traveling (pre-pandemic), and driving around on backroads listening to music with friends. She is very excited to be working for the CSF to gain more experience in the nonprofit sector and see the impact that this organization makes in students’ lives.

Ally Resh is an alumna Carson Scholar, who attends Messiah College.  She is our Development and Communications Intern. Ally is passionate about public relations and strives to make a positive difference in the world through the information she communicates. In her free time, you can find Ally reading at a coffee shop, taking a walk in nature, or exploring a new city!
