New Ben Carson Reading Rooms in Texas and Florida!

Eight is considered a number representing new beginnings and opportunities. During the fall, new opportunities in the form of Ben Carson Reading Rooms were bestowed on EIGHT deserving schools in Texas and Florida. In October, five Ben Carson Reading Rooms sponsored by Jamie and Kyle Stallings opened simultaneously in the Midland Independent School District. The schools receiving this valuable resource include Burnet Elementary School, DeZavala Elementary School, Emerson Elementary School, Santa Rita Elementary School and Scharbauer Elementary School. Fall was also a busy time for schools in the sunshine state, as three Ben Carson Reading Rooms were added to the roster. Reading rooms can now be found at Plumosa School of the Arts K-8 in Delray Beach, Royal Palm Beach Elementary School in Royal Palm Beach and Seminole Trails Elementary School in West Palm Beach. The Plumosa School of the Arts reading room is sponsored in honor of longtime CSF Palm Beach County Chapter members Sande Constantine and Linda Stoch. The Royal Palm Beach Elementary reading room is sponsored by NewDay USA and Seminole Trails Elementary is proudly sponsored by Related Companies. We are truly thankful to these sponsors and the educators who made these reading rooms possible. Cultivating a literacy sanctuary is an essential way to communicate to young students the importance of self-sustained, independent reading.
