Scholar Spotlight: Catelyne Holcomb
As the new school year begins, we’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on one of our remarkable scholars: Catelyne Holcomb, a seven-time Carson Scholar.
Catelyne has demonstrated an incredible commitment to both academics and leadership throughout her journey. With aspirations to pursue a career in business—particularly in finance and accounting—she is already building the skills and experiences that will serve her well in the future.
Beyond the classroom, Catelyne is a true leader. She served as captain of her high school tennis team during her junior year, showing not only athletic ability but also teamwork and dedication. She also dedicates her time to service and community engagement, actively participating in Girl Scouts, Be a Buddy Club (where she supports the Lee County Special Olympics), and the National Honor Society.
When she’s not studying or leading, Catelyne loves to explore new experiences. Whether she’s traveling, reading, or perfecting her tennis skills, she approaches every opportunity with energy and enthusiasm.
We are so proud of Catelyne and all that she has achieved. As she enters her senior year, we look forward to seeing the incredible impact she will continue to make—both within her community and in the future she is working hard to build.
