Welcome Evan to the CSF!
Evan Harasty recently joined the Carson Scholars Fund as an Operations & Finance Assistant, where he works closely with the Executive Director to support organizational operations, financial processes, and day to day projects that help advance the mission of CSF. With a strong interest in data, analysis, and operational efficiency, he is enthusiastic about contributing to work that expands scholarship opportunities and empowers high achieving students across the country. Evan is proud to be part of a team that plays such a direct role in supporting future leaders.
Evan is a 2024 graduate of Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and he continued his studies at Loyola to complete his MBA in 2025. His international upbringing shaped much of who he is today, as he spent his childhood in Finland, France, and Italy while his father served as a Navy diplomat. He later moved to Washington, DC for high school, where his family still lives, and he is now based in Baltimore. Evan speaks fluent French from growing up in multilingual environments and through his Belgian family roots.
Beyond work, Evan loves to travel, explore new places, and push himself to experience unfamiliar environments. One of his personal goals is to visit every National Park in the United States, and he has already reached more than 25. Whether hiking, planning trips, trying food he has never had, or simply learning about the world one place at a time, he values experiences that broaden his perspective and bring new stories into his life. Evan is excited for the opportunity to grow within CSF and to contribute to work that inspires students to continue dreaming big.
