Ringgold Elementary School

Ringgold, GA

Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic The Secret Garden has been adapted into screen, television, and stage.
This beloved children’s book has now come to life in the Ben Carson Reading Room at Ringgold Elementary and Ringgold Primary School.

On Friday, March 12, 2021 the Ringgold campus unveiled their Garden of Reading themed room.  Upon entering the space, children are immediately transported into a magical place.  A full-sized wall mural of luscious, manicured bushes and trees sets the tone.  A stone archway with an open wrought iron gate beckons students to sit, relax, reflect, and escape into a good book.  Students can choose from numerous sitting areas including a double wicker rocking chair, an outside swing complete with twinkling lights, or a reading loft soaring high above the reading room.

The Ringgold Elementary / Ringgold Primary reading room is the fourth reading room to be sponsored by the Holland Family Foundation.
