Spring 2026 payouts
Payout portal opens: October 27, 2025   |  Payout portal closes: November 21, 2025
Checks are mailed to schools on December 12th.

Getting ready to set off for college? Make sure you understand our scholarship payout process.

The Carson Scholars Fund will only make payouts twice a year – for the fall and spring semesters.  We cannot accommodate payout requests for summer or winter classes.

Important things to know about your scholarship payout:

• Funds are paid directly to the college/university at which you will be a full-time student.
• You must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree track (four-year) program to receive the payout.
• Your Carson Scholarship can be used towards tuition, room and board, and/or books.
• The scholarship is a one-time award.
• You may request a full or partial payout or defer your scholarship payout until a future semester if needed.
• Payouts may be deferred for up to three years after high school graduation.
